Sa’diyya Nesar
Sa’diyya Nesar, a TEDx speaker, poet, and author of *Hearts that Remember* and *Strength from Within*, is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). Born with muscular myopathy, she transforms personal adversity into conversations on resilience, faith, and accessibility. Holding a degree in English Language & Literature from The University of Hong Kong and studying Islamic scholarship at Cambridge Islamic College, she brings a deep understanding of intersectionality and inclusion. Her work has been featured in *HuffPost*, *SISTERs magazine*, and *Muslim Matters*. Recognized as a diversity list candidate for The Zubin Foundation and a RESOLVE social justice fellow, she fosters dialogue through disability and interfaith panels.
She ensures her books are available in braille, making literature more accessible to visually impaired readers. Sa’diyya leads corporate and educational workshops covering disability inclusion, faith-based representation, and creative writing. Through her advocacy and storytelling, she empowers organizations to foster inclusive environments where diversity is valued and equity is actionable.
